From the North on Highway 99

Central Avenue Option

  • From 99 South, exit Central Ave.
    • Central Ave. is the third exit upon leaving Fresno (Jensen Ave., North Ave., Central Ave.)
  • Exit Central Ave
  • Turn left (east) over the freeway. 
    • Note: The conference location is approx. 35 minutes from the Central Ave. exit.
  • Continue east on Central Ave.
    • Note: After you pass through a 4-way stop at Newmark, Central Ave. will drop down into the river bottom and curve south, curve east again, and turn into Goodfellow Ave. (You will remain on the same road, but the name will change to Goodfellow Ave.)
  • Continue east until the road intersects Reed Ave. 
    • Note: There will be a stop sign, and you will be forced to turn either left or right.
  • Turn left (north)on Reed Ave. Go approx. 1/2 mile.
  • Turn right (east) on Central Ave. Go 1.5 miles. 
    • Note: There will be a large alcohol plant on the southeast corner of that intersection. When you are on Reed Ave. going north, look for the alcohol plant on the right side of the road. Immediately after the plant, turn right on Central Ave. 
    • Note: There is no stop sign on Reed Ave.! You will pass through a stop sign (Frankwood Ave.). 
  • Turn right (south) on Buttonwillow Ave. Go 1 mile. 
    • Note: Central Ave. has no stop sign at Buttonwillow. Make sure you watch for the road!
  • Turn left (east) on American Ave. Go 7 miles. 
  • Turn left (north) on Hills Valley RD. Go 1.5 miles.
  • Turn right onto the dirt lane (Parish driveway) marked with a green address sign: "3480 S. Hills Valley RD". 
    • Note: After you turn left on Hills Valley RD, you will go up a small rise, then drop down again. On your right will be orange trees. Within approx. 0.5 mile, the orange trees on your right will open into a large, fenced, grass field. Continue with the field on your right. Immediately before the orange trees start again, turn on the dirt lane. As another landmark, look for a small, gray ranch style house on the left side of the road, just opposite the Parish driveway.
  • Continue down the Parish driveway, go through the gate at the second address sign, and come up the hill. You have arrived! 


Kings Canyon Option -- From the North on Highway 41

  • From 41 South, exit onto 180 East / Kings Canyon.
  • Continue east through the stop light at Academy Ave.
  • Continue east through Centerville and across the Kings River. 
  • After passing through Minkler, turn left (east) to stay on Kings Canyon, and go 6.3 mi. to Cove Ave.
    • Note 1: There will be a fruit stand (possibly inactive) on the south-east corner. Turn on Kings Canyon immediately before the fruit stand.
    • Note 2: Be careful making this left turn; this is a confusing intersection. There will be a left-hand turn lane for you, but no stop sign. Oncoming traffic has a stop sign and should give you the right of way. 
  • Turn right (south) on Cove Ave., and go 3.7 mi. to American Ave.
  • Turn left (east) on American Ave., and go 2.5 mi. to Hills Valley RD.
  • Turn left (north) on Hills Valley RD, and go 1.4 mi. to the Parish driveway.
  • Turn right onto the dirt lane (Parish driveway) marked with a green address sign: "3480 S. Hills Valley RD".
    • Note: After turning left, you will go up a small rise, then drop down again. On your right will be orange trees. Within approx. 0.5 mile, the orange trees on your right will open into a large, fenced, grass field. Continue with the field on your right. Immediately before the orange trees start again, turn right onto the Parish driveway. As another landmark, look for a small, gray ranch style house on the left side of the road, just opposite the Parish driveway.
  • Continue down the Parish driveway, go through the gate at the second address sign, and come up the hill. You have arrived! 

 

From the South 

  • From 99 north, exit and merge onto 198 east.
  • Immediately take the Plaza Drive exit.
    • Note: When you exit, you will see a Holiday Inn on your right.
  • Turn left (north), pass over 198, and go 10.3 mi. to Ave. 384.  
    • Note: There is a stop light at that intersection.
  • Turn right (east) on Ave. 384, and go 5 mi. to Road 120.
    • Note: Pay attention to the road signs because there is no stop sign on RD 120. 
  • Turn left (north) on Road 120, and go 13.5 mi. to the Parish driveway.
    • Note: You will pass through two 4-way stop signs, a stoplight at Ave. 416, and another stop sign at Park Ave./Ave. 460. At Park Ave. Orange Cove will be directly to the left. The Parish driveway is approx. 4 mi. north of Park Ave. 
    • Note: After you cross park, the name of the road you are on (Ave. 120) will change to Hills Valley Road.
  • Turn right onto the dirt lane (Parish driveway) marked with a green address sign: "3480 S. Hills Valley RD".
    • Note: Approximately 2.5 mi. from Park Ave. you will go up a small rise, then drop down again. On your right will be orange trees. Within approx. 0.5 mile, the orange trees on your right will open into a large, fenced, grass field. Continue with the field on your right. Immediately before the orange trees start again, turn right onto the Parish driveway. As another landmark, look for a small, gray ranch style house on the left side of the road, just opposite the Parish driveway.
  • Continue down the Parish driveway, go through the gate at the second address sign, and come up the hill. You have arrived!
